Had a good week-end at the Scottish championships with other committee members who travelled up to show their support, Master Dew, Master Walton, Master Sergiew, Master Donnelly & Master Atkins. We were very impressed with the venue and we are looking at the possibility of holding a future large event there as the facilities are so good. We look forward now to the European championships in Poland and hope they can organise it as good as a TAGB event. On the 8th September Grandmaster C.K. Choi was awarded the highest civilian honour in Canada, the Queen Elizabeth II diamond jubilee award, it was presented by the governor general of Canada for being a pioneer for tae kwon do in Canada and demonstrating his art all around the world. Tae Kwon Do International and the TAGB send their congratulations and I look forward to catching up with the great man in Kracow at the European championships which he will be attending.
