European Championships

The date and venue for the European Championships in Poland this year has been finalised.

Tickets for the Tournament will be just £10 if you purchase them through the TAGB but tickets bought direct from SENI will cost £25 so make sure you buy yours in advance from the TAGB. A ticket will allow you entry to the show and to watch all the other events taking place at the show. It will be a great day out with more action than you can handle and best of all it’s a Bank Holiday weekend.More information will follow as and when we get it.

The tournament will take place In Krakow-Wielczka, Poland on the weekend of 27th and 28th October.

Krakow is the most well know Polish City and is one of the Worlds top 10 tourist destinations. It has an international airport with cheap, direct flights from most UK airports. Krakow can offer a full range of accommodation, low budget hotels to 5* luxury. There are plenty of tourist attractions, restaurants, great public transport and much, much more.

The event will take place in a new sports complex and the event is being sponsored by the local government. For those who wish to stay in Krakow coaches will be provided to the competition venue for both spectators and competitors. Why not make a long weekend of it and enjoy all that Krakow has to offer.

BTC Team Tournament 2012

The TAGB will defend our team title against all the other TKD Associations in the BTC on Sunday 3rd June 2012.

This will take place in the International Combat Sports Show, SENI, at the Excel Arena, London, where all the combat sports for the Olympics are being held. This event will be part of the show and will once again be a team event with team sparring, patterns and destruction. We are also in negotiation with the organisers to set up a team match between the TAGB team and the England Karate team. This will take place after the main BTC events and would be one of the main events of the show. This event will take place if we can work out the rules!
