Paul Harris
Mr Harris, 3rd Degree Black Belt
in Tae Kwon-do, joined the TAGB in 1995. He trains under the instruction of Master Mike Dew (7th Degree Black Belt),
Vice Chairman of the TAGB and Chairman of the BTC.
Mr Harris is a qualified and certified Tae Kwon-do
instructor which includes training in Health and Safety and Child Protection. He holds an enhanced Criminal Records
Certificate (CRC) and a First Aid Certificate.
Mr Harris is a qualified Tae Kwon-do Competition
Official, holding certificates as both an Umpire and Referee.
North Devon Tae Kwon-do is affiliated with the TAGB
(Tae Kwon-do Association of Great Britain), Europes largest single Tae Kwon-do Association with over 22,000 in over 500 clubs
nationwide. The TAGB is recognised by the British Tae Kwon-do Council and the government Sports Council, ensuring
professional and safe tuition at all times.
North Devon Tae Kwon-do caters for all, from 5 year
olds to the young at heart. North Devon Tae Kwon-do has a wide choice of venues to train in over a small area, ensuring that
every student can get maximum tuition in a friendly and safe environment with minimal travelling.
Mr Harris has been involved in teaching
Tae Kwon-do and self defence awareness in schools, as part of the schools curriculum.
Self Defence classes are available to group
bookings, including women only groups. North Devon Tae Kwon-do may also be booked for public demonstrations and events.
Within the TAGB, regional, national and international
competitions are held on a regular basis along with the seminars taken by International Martial Artists. This gives TAGB
members an ideal opportunity to train with top Martial Artists from all over the world.
As a TAGB member you will be able to enter these
events or simply spectate. Either way you will enjoy an exciting and entertaining day, whilst learning more about the
skills involved in Tae Kwon-do.
