FAQ's

Who can attend?
Anyone who has a full set of sparring pads and a currently valid TAGB licence can attend.

What do I need?
Loosely fitting clothes, trainers, full sparring gear, lots of water and the expectation to work hard.

What are the benefits?
The squad training sessions are supervised by national TAGB team coach Mr Kenny Walton. They are however of benefit to all, at all levels. Your physical fitness will improve, your technical ability will get sharper, you will learn new things, you'll be given the opportunity to take your performance to a new level and you'll meet some great people on the day.

Squad training usually starts at 10.30am and finishes at 1pm.




National Squad Training

National squad training is based in Nottingham at Bilborough Sports Centre and is open to anyone who has a full set of TAGB sparring equipment and a valid TAGB licence. You must also be training regularly with your instructor. It is a 2.5 hour session generally starting with an hours physical fitness, moving on to padwork and sparring. The fee for squad training is £5.00. It is an excellent opportunity to train and spar with some of the best semi-contact fighters not only in the TAGB but in the world.

The T.A.G.B team are entering a new chapter in there history with invites to a match against Karate in Disney. the Norwegn open, and then the world champs in Telford. Are you good enough for the TEAM?
